There are hundreds of DJs to choose from for your wedding. Narrowing them down and selecting one can be overwhelming, but we are SO HAPPY we chose Nate! He was everything we could have hoped for on our wedding day! He orchestrated our reception to perfection! Our dance floor was jam-packed all night. Nate is really good at reading the dance floor and knowing exactly which songs will pump up the crowd. He incorporated all of our song preferences and was so easy to work with. A true professional! I can’t recommend him enough, seriously.

Nate was recommended to my husband and me by friends who shared the same wedding venue the previous year. We were not local so we were certainly looking for recommendations. Once my husband and I met with Nate, we immediately knew he was the DJ for us! He was so friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic about his work. He was so helpful even beyond the music in offering us assistance with our timeline, recommending other local vendors, and was always willing to answer our questions and offer advice. Nate continued to prove how amazing he was the day of our wedding. We are a pretty eclectic couple that enjoys a wide variety of genres so we did not give Nate a whole lot of direction as far as what to play; however, we didn’t need to. Nate knew exactly what to play from the cocktail hour to the reception. He was able to read the crowd and kept the dance floor packed. We are so incredibly thankful for him and his amazing work! We highly recommend Nate to everyone!

My wife and I were very happy with Nate as our wedding DJ. He was pleasant, professional, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. We never even met or spoke with him before the wedding (we were planning this from a different state), and he totally nailed the mood we were hoping for! He was also very flexible – our guests stayed on the dance floor a lot longer than we anticipated and we ended up extending him an hour or so on the spot (we were able to do this by paying additional to our initial contract via Venmo). We recieved tons of compliments from our guests about how great the music was. We would highly recommend Nate to any couple or event looking to get every guest grooving on the dance floor!

Nate did such a great job at our wedding!! He made sure everyone got on the dancefloor, took a lot of requests from my friends and family and even downloaded songs he had never heard of before! I also found out later that when I was stressed about the layout of our reception (we had a little too many guests) he worked with my maid of honor to find a solution!! He went above and beyond his job for us, making sure he got everyone on that floor AND helping in parts of the wedding that weren’t even his job (I didnt even know until way after the wedding!) Overally just a really good person to trust, we definitely recommend!

One of my husband’s groomsman summed up the quality of Nate’s work on our wedding day perfectly: direct quote, “He’s trying to kill me! I literally can’t stop moving.” On a day where we saw all of our wedding decisions turn out to be excellent ones (not to toot my own horn), picking Nate to be our DJ was one of the best decisions we made. Everyone brought great energy to the event, and Nate accentuated that energy starting at the cocktail hour with a great playlist that blended old-school hip-hop and low-key pop and folk music. After dinner, the real party began, and the dance floor was packed all-night. Nate played everything from soul and funk, to house and hip-hop. All the transitions between songs were smooth, and he read the crowd perfectly. Nate helped to put our night over the top, and we are so happy to have had him as our DJ! Thank you Nate!

DJ Nate deejayed our wedding this past August and we do not have enough good things to say about him! He was professional, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. He took our list of “must plays” and “do not plays” and made an incredible set list of music that had the crowd pumping from start to finish. Our guests raved about all of the great songs he played. One guest even said, “Every time we start to leave he plays another great hit and we have to stay for just one more song!” Nate was extremely flexible and coordinated with our ceremony musician the day of the wedding leaving the bride to feel relaxed. Knowing I could count on Nate to do an amazing job helped ease any day-of jitters! My husband would proudly add that this was the ONE decision I allowed him to make and he knocked it out of the park by choosing DJ Nate!! Highly recommend!!

Nate pretty much was going to be our DJ the minute he was recommended to us by our photographer. His pricing is affordable and is reasonable for what he provides! He communicated with me headache free and broke everything down for me, which made it so easy to tell him which songs to play for intros and first dance songs. He also asked us to provide him a “must play” and a “do not play” list! My husband and I are in our early 20s so a lot of our friends were in the same demographics, we also had young children and older adults at our wedding. Nate managed to get EVERYONE out on the dance floor with nothing but smiles and bad dance moves! His MC skills were just as great as his playlist for our wedding! By the end of the night people were giving me compliments about Nate and wanted to know his information for future events!

Nate Clancy is the best DJ out there! When I found my venue, the owners said they only recommend one DJ, and lo and behold it was DJ Nate and NOW I KNOW WHY HE’S THE ONLY ONE THEY RECOMMEND! He was accommodating, patient, and professional. His playlist was dope, his MC skills were top notch, and his attitude is out of this world amazing. The lights, the music, everything he did secured the big bad dance party I wanted for my wedding! Nate was patient w/ my lack of communication halfway thru wedding planning and was still able to put together the best playlist and reception experience one month out. He also let me get behind the DJ booth and hit the 1’s and 2’s, so yeah, DJ Nate is the best. 🙂 He’ll make your wedding day fun and lively. You won’t regret hiring him!

Nate is AMAZING!! We have been lucky enough to work alongside him on wedding days (we are wedding photographers) and the first time we met him, we knew that he was going to be our DJ! Not only is he a fantastic DJ and full of talent, but he is also an amazing MC! He does an amazing job helping create an awesome reception timeline and keeping everything running smoothly! We only gave him a song list of about 10 songs, because we know that he is such an expert DJ and he did not disappoint with his song choices! All of our guests continually raved about him throughout the night! He is my number one recommendation for all of our couples to contact because we LOVE Nate!

He was great at listening to our song preferences and making helpful suggestions for wedding party entry, bouquet toss, mother-son dance, etc. He helped us think through the timeline and followed it well. I had absolute confidence that that he had our reception well in hand. And when pictures took a little longer than expected and the cake started to tip with the heat, he did the trouble-shooting. My guests loved chatting with him and Nate had everyone there on the dance floor when it was time to dance. We had a wonderful time dancing the evening away to our favorite songs and leaving the details in Nate’s capable hands.

After meeting Nate the first time, both my husband and I really got excited for how much fun the wedding could actually be! Nate was professional and personable, we felt comfortable that he’d make our wedding fun for our guests. Nate outlined which songs we’d need to think about, gave suggestions, and if we didn’t have preference, filled in the gaps with great music. Neither my husband or I are very outgoing, and Nate made sure everyone, including us, were having fun. In all of the years I’ve known my husband, I’ve never seen him dance as much as he did at our wedding. It was the most fun party I’ve been to, which is the best way to feel after your wedding day 🙂

Wow. Just wow! Nate is such a great guy to work with! Very skillful in his setup, quite a clean setup at that. He’s fast and efficient about transferring his equipment to multiple locations. The best part about him is his personality. He has great taste in music and played a wonderful mix to accommodate our varied crowd. Nate accommodated our singer for the ceremony and even helped my new husband and I perform a song to our guests by mic’ing a ukulele for us and providing me a wireless mic. The whole night was magic, and Nate was the wizard! I’d recommend him a million times.

I can’t not say enough good things about Nate Clancy! We asked him to be our DJ for the wedding, but he went above and beyond our expectations. He was always available and helpful in answering any questions I had, worked with me to create a timeline for the day, and played ceremony, cocktail, and reception music. Nate is one of the BEST out there. He DJed our wedding, and also my dad’s wedding a few months later and was a huge hit! Our wedding night was absolutely PERFECT and mostly in part to his ability to keep a party moving forward. From the ceremony music to the reception, Nate made sure that my husband and I didn’t stress or worry about a thing. He kept the timeline moving and our guests dancing. He brought lights that made our reception feel like a classy club and the music he played reflected exactly what we wanted for our night. We met with him one time before the wedding to map out the night and give him a sense of what we wanted and he DELIVERED. He is VERY responsive, and will help you through the process. He has a great, upbeat attitude and energy that keeps stressful situations in check – at my dad’s wedding, the venue staff were less than accommodating and he made sure no one knew what was going behind the scenes. This guy is amazing and I would absolutely recommend him again and again!

My best friend used ImTheDJ for her wedding and he find a great job. Off of her recommendation we decided to use him for the wedding. He was great and clean with the music. He is also pretty flexible and will play whatever unless it’s inappropriate. We had a Greek and Jewish wedding and he did everything really well, especially since it was his first time doing a wedding like that. He is VERY reasonable on pricing. So, if you’re on a budget wedding then go for it!
